This weekend, I accidentally found one of these systems in the usual yard Kiev. Unfortunately, despite all the positive of this project as a whole, yet can make a mostly negative opinion about what he saw.
The first key point - is the location of the solar battery. As can be seen in the photo below, the modules are oriented to the south. But just a few meters away from them grows a large poplar, which is most of the day will be the system of obscure. Especially in summer, when it will be a lot of foliage. Maybe, judging by the pictures the situation does not seem so sad. But, believe me, the reality of the location and surrounding trees are very, very non-optimal. And just a few hundred meters into the neighboring yard is another fracture, completely free of any shading objects. But solar panels on it for some reason have not been established.
The second point - is the actual lack of maintenance of the system, taken on the balance. In the last picture shows clearly that the whole system is 100% covered in snow and it is the time of shooting is absolutely unworkable. In my periodic observations for this particular item in general no one came for the last month. And the chances of clearing the snow from the modules to the warm spring of days, I think very few.
I do not know how many thousands have. e. was paid ... But it is already clear that there is a strong likelihood that this experiment is found to be unsuccessful, and further introduction of systems based on alternative sources of energy will be slowed down. And I would not like this very. After all, any new good idea is very easy to discredit, entrusting its execution amateurs or people who are not interested in a successful outcome.
